Our Story
A tradition of sharing Greek culture and hospitality with the Pensacola community
A Celebration of Heritage
The Pensacola Greek Festival began over four decades ago as a small gathering to share the rich traditions of Greece with our local community. What started as a modest event has grown into one of the region's most beloved cultural celebrations.
Each year, our festival brings together members of the Greek Orthodox community and friends from all backgrounds to experience authentic Greek culture. From generations-old family recipes to traditional folk dances passed down through the ages, every aspect of our festival reflects the warmth and joy of Greek hospitality.
Our festival is organized by dedicated volunteers from the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church community. These volunteers spend months preparing, cooking, and planning to ensure that every visitor has an authentic and memorable experience.
Whether you have Greek heritage or are simply curious about Greek culture, the Pensacola Greek Festival welcomes you with open arms. Come discover why Greece has captivated hearts and minds for millennia, and experience the spirit of "philoxenia" – the Greek tradition of love for strangers.
